  6. Coordinated with ISF Division Fires Officers to de-conflict fires between ISF Artillery and U.S. Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.
  7. Coordinated directly with multiple stakeholders within the complex to include Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM), ScanEagle, and Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) operators.
  8. Coordinated communication and target locations directly between Iraqi Army Aviation/Airforce pilots and U.S. ISR operators.
  9. Appointed as a personal advisor to the Iraqi Security Forces General Officers and Coalition Forces advisors.
  10. Interpreted and translated during personal screening and interviews with counterintelligence officers and analyzed enemy radio communications to assist in future planning.
  11. Managed SIGINT collection and reporting operations.
  12. Provided language and hands-on medical support to the TF Forward Surgical Team to assess injuries and mental status of patients for ISF and civilians.
  13. Coordinated ISF MEDEVACS (Air and Ground) in timely manners.
  14. Coordinated and executed of a land-line that facilitated communications between the TF JOC and ISF throughout Iraq.

LINGUIST/CRYPTOLINGUIST, U.S. ARMY | Feb 2015 – Feb 2016

  1. Advised, assisted, and enabled Iraqi Special Operation Forces (ISOF) to pursue offensive combat operations (Battle of Ramadi) against the Islamic State in the Western region, Iraq.
  2. Communicated directly with real-time target location information between Iraqi Army Aviation (Military helicopter pilots) & Airforce (fighter jets) pilots and U.S. ISR operators to conduct planned/unplanned Airstrikes, resulted in saving lives of thousands of Iraqi ground forces, pilots, and military equipment.
  3. Translated/Interpreted Real-Time combat plans and instructions Between U.S. command and Iraqi field command, resulted in successfully recapture the city of Ramadi from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), which had taken the city earlier in 2015 in a previous battle.
  4. Translated/Interpreted enemy radio communications, banners, signs, and gestures and movement through air ISR.
  5. Trained a 10 man ICTF/ISOF team to participate in Battle of Ramadi resulted in successfully recapture the city of Ramadi and Fallujah from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
  6. Conducted Key Leaders Engagements in and outside the wire between U.S. Command and Iraqi military and government officials.

Skills Write Up:

  1. Native Arabic speaker with military and combat experience.
  2. Prepared to carry equipment and weapons while on patrol supporting military forces potentially under hostile fire and arduous weather and environmental conditions.
  3. Ability to live and work in harsh and hostile environments to include combat operations (highly desired), with the ability to remain in the theater of operations for the entire duration of the mission.
  4. Physically and mentally prepared to endure extended periods outdoors in all weather conditions while accompanying U.S. Forces on various missions in full protective gear.
  5. Ability to travel and transport via small aircraft, rotary craft, ground vehicles (MRAP, HUMVEE, commercial vehicle, etc.), or watercraft in a wide variety of environments including high winds, rough terrain, and high altitude.
  6. Combat deployed experience in the CENTCOM Area of Operations as a former U.S. Army Linguist to supporting contingency operations.
  7. Knowledge of U.S. Intelligence Community, military, cryptologic, and law enforcement experience.
  8. Experience in supporting CI operations.
  9. Experience in supporting SOF operations.
  10. Experience in supporting counterinsurgency operations.
  11. Extensive experience and extreme passion for supporting RPA/UAS/UAV Operators.
  12. Ability to function effectively and efficiently during extended periods of high pressure and stress.
  13. Willing to be subject to a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
