Program Mngr. (OCT 12-Present), Researcher Resource Mngr. (OCT 11-SEP 12), Arlington, Virginia

Mentored and supervised 25 analysts and five other specialized personnel daily in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) customer. Directly responsible for receiving all request for information (RFIs), prioritizing requirements and efforts, converting into actionable taskings for the analysts and researchers, reviewing and publishing all analytical products, and maintaining the quality of products. Responsible for recruiting, maintaining, and methodically growing the Native Researcher network in denied areas of Africa and Middle East. Developed online elicitation procedures within authorities and best practices.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Methodically mentored 25 analysts responsible for six separate area of operations (13 African, 15 European, two Middle Eastern countries) that provided pertinent information that led to over 650+ Native Prospector reports in a 12-month period.
  • Employed research methods using Native Researchers to answer over 200+ SOCAFRICA & SOCEUR generated timely Request-For-Information (RFIs) or standing Priority Information Requirements (PIRs).
  • Established and managed robust networks of over 175 Native Researchers across 25 independent countries that provided timely and pertinent information for SOF customer.
  • Constructed a detailed Candidate Resume Database (CRD) over 400+ potential Native Researchers using a thorough screening and assessment effort based on access to denied areas / particular skills & experience.
  • Created and implemented a weekly long-term Native Prospector analyst training plan that led to a 75% increase in capability status while saving Navanti Group in excess of $75K in training costs.

UNITED STATES ARMY- SPECIAL FORCES

Operations / Team Sergeant, Fort Carson, Colorado and Stuttgart, Germany (2004-2011)

Supervise team of 15 (at times up to 50) Special Forces personnel in execution of highly sensitive operations throughout numerous global locations. Lead trainer, mentor, and advisor who delivered training to over 1,000 participants.  Manage full cycle of projects within procedure and policies that accomplish objectives safely and within budget directives.

Company Instructor / Cadre Team Sergeant, Fort Bragg, NC (2001- 2004)

Supervised and mentored eight instructors for Phase II of the Special Forces Qualification Course who were responsible in training 120-man Student Company using $1.8 million worth of equipment. Supervised an intensive, three-month instructor certification program that achieved 100% qualification of 12 new cadre. Safely trained over 1,200 students that included multiple airborne operations and numerous water crossings with no safety incidents or loss of equipment.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Instructed the Troop Leading Procedures to over 3600 students in a three-year period resulting in a 99% pass rate on the exam.
  • Selected as the representative over 25 other Phase II Cadre to attend and graduated the first 18F Special Forces Intelligence Sergeants Course.
  • Maintained a 4.0 GPA while completing 36 semester hours of college credit during limited off duty time.

Senior Communications / Assistant Intelligence Sergeant, Fort Carson, CO (1996- 2001)

Directly responsible for all communications with higher HQ using $750K equipment during four separate six-month deployments to Bosnia-Herzegovina (1996-1998) and Kosovo (1999). Assisted in intelligence operations that led to amplified situational awareness resulting in no serious incidents during four separate six-month grueling missions.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Instrumental in developing relationship with numerous US non-governmental organizations (NGO) and UN agencies that led to achieving accurate delivery of medical and humanitarian supplies throughout theater.

Maintained all tactical communication systems, daily status and intelligence reports, data management, and all mapping and imagery products resulting in a 98% on-time reporting accuracy during deployments.
