I just returned from Iraq where i performed the duties as a JET on FOB Taji, Iraq. While there I advised and assisted over 3000 personnel on all matter C-IED and C-UAS. My role was to gather atmospherics of currently enemy tactics and advise the Iraqi and coalition commands on best practices to avoid IED and UAS threat. The last deployment was 5 months and during the deployment we successfully defended the base against several UAS threats and as a JET adviser I was able to advise the QRF forces on best practices using C-UAS systems which helped to counter several attacks.
