Served as an advisor for the CBRN school on education issues and concerns, and the career management and professional development of approximately 7,900 Career Field 74 (Chemical) Soldiers. Responsible for assigning career-enhancing assignments, training and development, force alignment and MOS structure realignment recommendations. Managed Brigade Combat Teams and Divisions during the RESET process according to Army Force Generation policy and procedures. Oversaw the professional development of 4,200 Noncommissioned Officers.

 

62nd Chemical Company, Ft. Lewis, WA

May 2006 – January 2008

 

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR  (PLATOON SERGEANT)

Served as health, welfare, safety, training, and morale advisor for six Non Commissioned Officers and 12 Soldiers for a platoon of a heavy decontamination chemical company task-organized to a Combat Support Brigade (ME). Maintained accountability and operational ready-state of the platoon’s equipment valued at $1.8 million dollars. Led platoon in an intensive physical fitness training program to achieve the highest aggregate average score in the company. Maintained a 100% equipment operational readiness rate for 12 consecutive months.

 

1st Ranger Battalion, Savannah, GA

April 2004 –April 2006

 

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (BATTALION CBRN NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICER)

Planned, executed and supervised Battalion CBRN training and testing. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of all battalion chemical defense equipment. Charged with leadership, counseling, training and professional development of eight personnel. Assisted the Chemical Officer in training to fight and survive combat in a chemical environment. Served as Liaison Officer to Joint Special Operations Task forces in forward outstations in Afghanistan. Managed a classified special program. Managed Joint Special Operations in remote outstations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Provided critical intelligence updates to the command.

 

COMPANY CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, RADIOLOGICAL, NUCLEAR SPECIALIST

(June 2002 – April 2004)

Responsible for readiness in an Airborne Ranger rifle company capable of deploying worldwide to conduct special military operations. Trained Ranger’s in hazard protection and assisted intelligence-gathering teams, advising the Commander on all threat related matters. Served as a Liaison Officer in remote locations within Joint Special Operations combat environments to facilitate success in all combat matters within unit.
