I am a retired Navy Master EOD Technician with over 26 years of EOD and C-IED experience with deployments for both the DoD and DoS in Afghanistan (3x), Iraq (2x), Pakistan (2x), Chad and Saudi Arabia.
I am also a certified NJROTC Instructor, American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Instructor, Troops to Teachers, Master Training Specialist / Instructor as well as possessing my Ph.D.

Position Write Up:
Technology Integrator Washington, DC/Bagram AB, Afghan)
Responsible for tracking, coordinating, and reporting the status of relevant Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) technologies as directed by Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF) Paladin CJ 9, Afghanistan and in concert with JIEDDO Technology Requirements Integration Division (TRID). Assists in referencing requirements and research on Operational Needs Statements (ONS) and Joint Urgent Operational Needs Statements (JUONS) for US Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) and CJTF Paladin Fragmented Orders (FRAGOS). Draft, coordinate, and execute written agreements and logistical/operational support for incoming and existing JIEDDO Technology activities. Participates in battle rhythm of the CJ9 meetings, SVTCs with IJC, USFOR-A, JIEDDO, and RCs. Prepares slides/talking points and briefs for senior leadership for status updates on relevant JIEDDO technologies. Conducts battlefield circulation to get ground impressions/status of JIEDDO technologies. Maintains contact and updates from theater JIEDDO initiative Field Service Representatives (FSR).

Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI)/Biometric Fusion Analyst (Bagram AB, Afghan)
Directly supports the wartime effort in RC-E/RC-C/RC-W and manages/responds to Requests For Information (RFIs). Coordinates with the Counter IED Operational Integration Center (COIC) to provide a WTI perspective to the COIC process for the supported RC. Supports WTI-Counter Insurgency Targeting Packages (CITP) processes. Produces WTI products to be pushed to RC Battle Space Owner (BSO) and supports EOD Battalions. Provides reach back support for Dissemination Analysis Collection (DAC). Provides weekly snapshots for support each respective RC. Alternate for supporting RC-E/N.

Military Operations Integrator SME (Reston, VA)
Develops processes that focus on exposing enemy networks that employ IEDs. Prioritizes and categorizes requests for information/support and conducts near and long term analyses of device and network-centric problem sets. Fuses and prioritizes the multiple intelligence disciplines to disrupt and defeat enemy networks that employ IEDs. Focuses on problem sets at the tactical through operational levels while applying a thorough understanding of the ops/intelligence fusion process to compile, collate, analyze and evaluate all sources of intelligence (to include unevaluated intelligence) associated with IEDs and their employment by terrorist, insurgent, or criminal networks. Has a strong operational background and experience in shaping intelligence products that support tactical or operational goals set forth by the supported unit commander in order to create actionable target support packages. Possesses and understands the IED as well as the local, regional, and global networks that facilitate its construction, design, and usage.

Senior Analyst II/Systems Integrator (Washington, DC)
Responsible for the management of multiple system acquisition programs/projects or a major functional area. Fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the programs under his management; develops budgets; develops program/project standards and schedules; monitors outside resources. Directly responsible for monitoring and tracking ongoing operations, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), and briefing senior leadership within the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Operations Division of the Technology Requirements Integration Division (TRID). Accountable for the scheduling, development, production, and deployment of systems in a fast paced environment. Regularly manages initiatives in excess of $10 million.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Specialist/Counter IED (Fort Polk, LA)
Directly responsible for providing training in Route Clearance (RC), and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) identification Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) for all United States Army units during Pre-Deployment Training. Evaluates realistic exercise scenarios and provides invaluable After Action Reports (AAR) to the units as well as the drafting and presenting of briefings, as needed, with regard to emerging IED threats and recommends appropriate defeat procedures. Maintains IED Lanes and devices.

Weapons Intelligence Team Leader (FOB Loyalty, Iraq)
Weapons Intelligence Team (WIT) Leader for the Forensics Observation Exploitation (FOX) Team. Responsible for the identification, exploitation, and analyzation of all Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and Explosively Formed Penetrator (EFP) components in support of the U.S. Army and the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). Performs forensics investigations on all pre and post blast incidents involving coalition forces to include finger printing, cell phone, and computer related intelligence gathering for potential use during criminal trials. Leads a team of several intel analysts, combat trackers, interpretors, law enforcement, UAV, and K9 personnel.

EOD Systems Analyst (Camp Lejeune, NC)
Systems Analyst for the United States Marine Corps Engineer Center of Excellence (ECOE). Ensures the Improvised Explosive Device-Defeat (IED-D) curriculum�s training and intelligence information is updated using all available resources and is given to the Mobile Training Teams. Recognized Subject Matter Expert on Explosive Ordnance Disposal procedures and techniques. Researches and evaluates all emerging Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for relevance.

Site Security Supervisor (Baghdad, Iraq)
Responsible for the security of the U.S. International Zone at various Combined Access Control Points. Oversees an armed security guard force of 100 Third Country Nationals. Manages all areas of personal searches, vehicular searches, and explosives monitoring detection devices in direct support of the Multi National Forces Iraq (MNFI). Liaison between Department of State and TCNs.

Explosive Incident Countermeasures Instructor (N�Djamena, Chad)
Provides Explosive Incident Counter-Measures (EIC) training and techniques/instruction to senior level (Commandants, Police Commisioners, etc.) law enforcement officials for the United States Department of State. Also supervises daily demolition operations, post blast investigations, and Explosive Vulnerability Assessments (EVA). Constructed training devices for use in scenarios during training.

Department of State (USIS) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Advisor (Kabul, Afghanistan)
Presidential EOD Advisor to Afghanistan President Karzai�s Presidential Protection Services (PPS). Oversees all aspects of the EOD PPS routine and makes recommendations for training and live action Presidential Provincial Movements to ensure all potential threats are diminished during all venue visitations. Drafts and evaluates all training exercise scenarios for entire PPS.

Senior Unexploded Ordnance Instructor / CPR/ First Aid Instructor (Oak Ridge, TN)
Trained students under the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and the University of Tennessee in the areas of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) and OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response (HAZWOPER). Responsible for all aspects of safety during demolition training and operations. Provided counseling and additional training as necessary to ensure lectures were understood.

Mobile Anti-Terrorist Training Team Instructor (Islamabad, Pakistan)
Trained senior law enforcement officials of foreign governments for the United States Department of State in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) techniques, tools, post blast investigations, and demolitions operations. Unexploded Ordnance Supervisor/Safety/Quality Control
Supervises teams of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians in the location, identification, and removal of all munitions and explosives of concern (MEC), to include chemical and nuclear, during Explosives and Environmental Remediation Operations for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Extremely confident working in hazardous and stressful situations. Completed the US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management Course for Supervisors.

Master EOD Technician (USN Retired)
Responsible for localization, identification, removal and disposal of all ordnance, foreign and domestic, conventional and nuclear, surface and subsurface, including chemical, biological, and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
