August 2010 – present

·Served as a HUMINT collector and operator conducting MSO in direct response to National Level, Department of Defense and Combatant Command intelligence requirements in austere and combat environments.

·   Provided guidance and assistance to DoD personnel (who) on all matters pertaining to Special Operations Forces (SOF) HUMINT functions and methodologies.

·   Routinely used existing techniques, tools, and methods or employed new methodological approaches to collect information.

·   Developed, implemented and refined intelligence operations and periods of instruction to facilitate component level integration of (MSO) down to the Special Operations Team level.

·   Conducted operations using the operational cycle, performed risk versus gain analysis of all projected and on-going actions of the operation and employed appropriate procedures.       Prepared and coordinated required actions and reports to document all activities and outcomes of operations.

·   Responsible for administration, operations, training, equipping, and manning of four CI/HUMINT detachments dispersed along the entire east coast comprising of 50+ Reserve CI/HUMINT Marines.

·   Ensured compliance with all executive orders, national level and DoD directives pertaining to intelligence oversight and CI/HUMINT activities.

·   Assisted the command by addressing CI/HUMINT related intelligence issues and ensured effective planning for operational support to Combatant Commander Requirements and request for forces submissions (RFF’s).

·   Manage a full range of operational and support activities for overseas missions.

·   Provide operational guidance for ongoing cases, ensuring the identification of counterintelligence issues to protect the Commander’s personnel and facilities overseas.

Served as a CI/HUMINT Exploitation Team (HET) Chief responsible for supervising, planning and coordinating the execution of CI/HUMINT operations in a combat environment.

·   Provided daily input and recommendations to the combatant commander of threats discovered during MSO and Tactical interrogations.

·   Responsible for the management of 20+ sources spread loaded throughout a large AO under four collectors.

·   Participated in at least 50 intelligence driven raids and combat operations to assist in the shaping of the battlefield.

·   Conducted in excess of 110 tactical and deliberate interrogations.

·   Collected and reported information resulting in intelligence that led to the capture of 18 INS.

·   Collected critical time sensitive information alerting coalition forces to multiple SVBIED\’s resulting in the preservation of Coalition lives.

·   Performed a variety of functions in the counterintelligence area including CI preliminary inquiries, data research and analysis, CI training and awareness, briefings, and debriefings to deploying units.

February 2005 – May 2006

Served as an independent CI/HUMINT Collector on a four-man CI/HUMINT Team (HET).

·   This assignment required knowledge in a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in HUMINT, DoD MSO in a tactical/operational environment in order to securely collect and report intelligence information.

·   Provided tactical/combat support to infantry battalions operating within the Ar Ramadi, IZ area of operations.

·   Conducted tactical and deliberate interrogations of insurgents and High Value Individuals (HVI).

·   Conducted local employee screenings (LEP)’s of indigenous personnel attempting to gain access or employment to the Forward Operating Base (FOB).

·   Responsible for 75+ DIIR’s published, resulting in several being graded evaluations of interest to National Level assets.

·   Produced time-sensitive information that prevented attacks on Coalition Forces and led to the discovery of multiple improvised explosive devices and their initiators.
