Job Description:
Our client has the right solution at the right time and is now looking to expand its footprint in both the US Government and the commercial markets. In an initiative that is highly supported at the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors, we are seeking a world-class Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this newly created position reporting directly to the CEO, we seek a world-class CRO to lead and accelerate Client next phase of growth. This position provides a tremendous opportunity to imprint your vision for Client’s business, go-to market and pricing strategy and develop the execution plan required to drive significant revenue growth. He/she will be in a highly visible role whose results will have a material impact on the overall success of the company in achieving its long-term market share, revenue, and profit objectives.

Responsibilities and Ideal Qualifications
The Chief Revenue Officer will be a key member of the senior leadership team and will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan and building/maintaining customer relationships that are essential to scaling a substantial federal and commercial business. He/she will attract top sales, business development, and professional services talent while motivating and leading the team to success. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused executive with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals selling/delivering SaaS solutions into the federal market. Additionally, the CRO will be a highly competitive, metrics and results-driven executive with an open, collaborative and team-based approach to leadership and management.

Responsibilities:
■ Develop strategic and operating plan, and execute strategy to substantially grow
both the federal and commercial businesses
■ Promote/expand brand presence with new and current customers by “walking the halls” and building relationships with influencers and key decision makers directly to agency end- users and through partners
■ Identify new opportunities and significantly grow the pipeline and lead capture of new
customers
■ Recruit, mentor and lead a team of top federal sales and BD professionals
■ Define and institutionalize the business metrics and key performance indicators essential to building a predictable, profitable, and sustainable high growth federal business
■ Develop budgets and forecasts and accurately report and communicate results
■ Demonstrate a strong commitment to the customers’ success and instill a sense of
urgency, accountability for results, and high-performance standards across the team

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
■ A proven executive leader and manager with 15+ years’ experience and consistent
goal attainment success selling across the federal market (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Program Executive
Experience desired but not required.
■ A proven executive sales leader with experience scaling small, rapid growth
federal/public sector business units from under $10M, ideally to over $100M
■ 7-10 years building and managing federal/public sector sales and business
development organizations and implementing multi-channel sales models that
include: selling directly to the federal government and through SI’s as well as
strategic partners (Recent/relevant/demonstratable network at the Program Executive/Appropriations level(s) desired)
■ Operational management skills in budgeting, financial management, forecasting,
reporting and developing key performance metrics
■ Experience with program management and operations necessary to support large
scale Federal programs
■ High energy, impeccable integrity, and operates at start-up speed
■ TS or higher clearance is preferred.

He/she will receive a excellent competitive executive compensation package with high On Target
Earnings (OTE) potential as well as meaningful pre-IPO equity plus excellent benefits.
