What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing enterprise virtualized environment support by performing high-end engineering; supporting Windows and Linux Server-based services; and performing maintenance of systems onsite with our customers
• Working directly with customers and system users onsite and supporting day-to-day customer operations
• Actively communicating with key program stakeholders regarding status of activities and potential recommendations for improvement regarding the customer’s network and systems
• Problem solving and troubleshooting issues within the deployed systems       
• Recommending enhancements and modifications to existing systems as well as any new system modifications        
• Supporting system administration activities to include patch management       
• Serving as key point of contact with customers and end users regarding system bugs, change requests and daily operations
• Working with other team members remotely to proactively diagnose and resolve complex problems

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
-Hands-on experience with Windows Server operating systems in addition to virtualization technologies such as VMware
-Hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems to include CentOS, Red Hat, and Kali Linux
-Hands-on system engineering experience: designing, building and troubleshooting experience
-System troubleshooting experience
-Build and configuration management experience to include Patch Management experience
-Creative problem solving
-Ability to remain on task – self-motivated and a strong communicator

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with standard TCP/IP concepts, including design and troubleshooting;

Familiarity with networking concepts; Cisco ASA Family, Cisco ISR Routing Platforms and Catalyst Switching platforms
