Position Overview and Requirements
Based upon our successful growth strategy, Benchmark is looking to bring on board a Principal
to join our team and work with us to continue to drive high growth in the business while at the
same time ensure that our high quality of customer service remains as a key differentiator in our
Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):
■ Work closely with Partners in profiling the client and the position
■ Lead research into development of the target candidate universe
■ Aggressive search execution to recruit targeted candidates to generate interest and
screen for the most promising candidates
■ Build relationships with target candidates to understand their fit, interest, issues and
■ Facilitate phone and personal meeting with the Client Partner to conduct detailed in
person interviews to assess experience, skills and cultural fit with the client’s needs
■ Assist in preparations of job specifications, candidate briefs, status reports, reference
checking and driving the search process to closure of top candidate
■ Attend private CEO events and business development functions with Partners to
develop a stronger personal network
■ Treat all candidates professionally including candidates that are not selected for a
search to ensure everyone contacted has a positive interaction with Benchmark.

Overall Experience and Abilities Required:
■ Recruiting experience is NOT required. We can train Tier-1 Operators who have the
resilience, persistence and tenacity that comes from achieving the highest levels of
success and command in the special operations forces.
■ A mature outlook and ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
■ Intellectual curiosity – interested in learning about new businesses and industries as well
as learning about “what makes each person tick”
■ Ability to develop rapport quickly and “connect” with executive over the phone

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
The position provides a highly competitive compensation package consisting of a strong base
salary, lucrative performance bonus and health care benefits.
