Inventory Material Management Supervisor

Haz pay, LIMS-EV, and Taco Tuesday.. 12 hours to rack up kills in COD

Location: Kandahar, Afghanistan

Salary: Negotiable

Security Clearance: SECRET

Rotation Schedule: 12 weeks on/ 3 weeks off

The Role.

The Inventory Material Management Supervisor is responsible to the Supply Manager for the smooth and efficient running of the Inspection Section.

The Inventory Material Management Supervisor is required to liaise with the Supply Manager, client and customer representatives at all levels in order to maintain excellent working relationships and to ensure further development of OSS services within the 451st Supply areas of responsibility.  

The Inventory Material Management Supervisor will oversee all US AF APS activities across the project, serves as the focal point between the customer and client.  

The role has Managerial responsibilities in line with but not limited to Company Policy, Base SoP’s, US AFIs/AFM and client Statement of Work (SOW) as well other relevant documents in relation to the contract including strict Health and Safety compliance.

 

The Role and Responsibilities.

  • Perform inventories/adjustment, submit schedule and proposed changes to the schedule to USAFCENT /A4R. Maintain a monthly inventory accuracy rate which is calculated and reflected on the Base Supply Management Report (M32).
  • Perform causative research inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage and control all rejects resulting from item records being frozen for inventory to include lifting the freeze code.
  • Perform inventory count for cycle inventory, complete research, documentation, reverse-post and repost transaction to correct error conditions. All repost actions shall be processed within one (1) workday of reverse-post transaction.
  • Utilize special inventory counts if deemed necessary. Special inventory counts are used to reconcile out- of-balance conditions discovered during other than complete or sample inventory counts.
  • Consolidated Inventory Adjustment Document Register (M10/NGV836). Conduct a monthly/semi-annual inventory analysis.
  • Provide a copy of the report, M10 and supporting adjustment documents/ research adjustment documents via electronic method, within 10 calendar days of production of the M10 to USAFCENT/A4, which includes but is not limited to the status of inventory adjustments, the status of over 180/365 days inventory and reverse-post transactions.
  • Document Control. May assist with establishing a Document Control function; work with IRP to identify delinquent documents.
  • Work/clear delinquent documents within twenty four (24) hours of occurrence, Work/clear delinquent shipments within 24 hours of receiving the listings.
  • May assist as a reject monitor and that the monitor will work/clear rejects within twenty four (24) hours of occurrence.
  • Ensure Classified, Sensitive, pilferable and COMSEC items are be properly identified, handled, shipped and stored, with 100% compliance required.
  • Manage reverse posts; including completing research, documentation, and reverse-post and repost transactions to correct error conditions, within 1 workday of reverse-post transaction.
  • Perform housekeeping duties within area and help maintain a safe working environment
  • Provide Customer Service support to remote US or Coalition sites as required, air transport will be coordinated by military.

Requirements:

  • US Secret Security clearance, ability to obtain a CAC card.
  • Experience in US Air Force Supply (LRS) Customer Services Technician (E4/E5), Career field 2S051/2S071
  • Experience with US Air Force Supply Computer System – ESS, LIMS-EV.
  • Must have valid Driver Licence. Copy of licence required
  • Preferred – Valid HazMat certificate for storage, handling and distribution.
  • Preferred – Valid Forklift certificate up to 7/10 ton.

 

    • Must have proven experience of functions and activities relating to USAF Supply material management requirements and computer systems, predominantly in Customer Services.
    • An understanding of US Air force instructions with the ability to research AFI/AFM for clarification and compliance.
    • Minimum 6 years’ service in U.S. Air Force Supply preferably E4/E5 in career field 2S051/2S071.
    • Preferred knowledge of other USAF Supply Management functions, with the ability to assist with secondary duty functions in APS, FSC Repair cycle, Inventory & Inspection, Equipment and Central Storage.
    • Proficient in the use of computers Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
    • Good oral and written communications skills required with excellent organizational abilities and customer facing experience.
    • Knowledge and understanding of health, safety and environmental matters within the workplace. Where stipulated will wear relevant PPE as required by the task and security conditions.
    • Position is located in a war zone in a contingency environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions, including lifting, carrying and wearing 25 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.

 

  • Military experience in a hostile environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.

 

  • Willingness to comply with applicable Government and Corporate regulations, policies and procedures
