Field Support Integration Engineer-Conus
Perform analysis and provide recommendations for improving processes, products and documentation for HSPD-12 PIV Systems. Knowledge of Windows network based authentication using smartcard (CAC/ PIV) accreditation to obtain a domain issued Kerberos signatures, possessing demonstrable and documented expertise in the implementation of security systems being fielded to comply with the HSPD-12, Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201, as well as CAC, PIV and PIV- II criteria in conjunction with, and associated DOD policies and criteria, considered to be a subject matter expert in my field. Possessing highly refined engineering skills commensurate with directing and execution of research, testing, evaluation, surveying, and development of HSPD-12 and FIPS 201-1 compliant systems. These analyses and recommendations shall ensure compliance with established processes, products, and documentation as they pertain to the regulations of HSPD-12 at the Federal Agency level.

Served as Team Lead on the project for my travel team. Following DoD standard operating procedures, helped in the process of meeting new mandate by performing systems upgrades, patches, images, updates, and data backup. Used SMS, batch files, Active Directory, DoD systems, biometrically encrypted MacAfee drives, and other department resources required for the migration, and as a part of the BRAC project and DoD protocol, performed work for Defense Security Service on a data migration project at Headquarters and throughout the nation.

Biometric Security Officer for CENTCOM-Iraq
Under directive and direction of DoD Central Command (CENTCOM) the BSO performed OCONUS activities in Iraq as a Biometrics Security Officer. Performed duties in the field related to intelligence gathering and information security in the country and at the ECP’s. Tested, evaluated, configured, and repaired electronics devices used on a DoD biometrics identity management program in Iraq. I performed inter-agency support with devices including: Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) and Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment (HIIDE) Advanced Biometrics (FP, FR) laptop computers, servers, iris-scanners, fingerprint scanners and readers, digital cameras, smart-card printers, and purpose-designed smart-card readers.
