As an independent researcher, I have worked with several clients and was hired directly to do the same work as detailed below. My transition from graduate school, being a teaching assistant for the same university, my work for xxxxx, and for xxxxx all ties into this collection of work.
 Research and write extensive geopolitical threat and vulnerability assessments for military client that include social and cultural aspects, crime and terrorism statistics and analysis, comprehensive lists of assets and probable vulnerabilities including but not limited to infrastructure and soft targets. Focus in CONUS, Mexico, Germany, and AFRICOM strategic areas over time.
 Research and draft PowerPoint presentations and supporting material used in coursework and training materials used by military clients and emergency management personnel related to infectious diseases of public health and national security importance and chemical weapons. One presentation that I developed was done as volunteer work for an organization called International Healing House. They worked with U.S. Marines in Asia to provide education, safety, and counterterrorism services to locals who were often victims. The presentation I created was to educate non-military about chemical, biological and toxin weapons. Not long following the release of my work, the agency website was no longer available. I contacted the director and she told me that my work had subsequently been classified in some way which led to the removal of that and related information from their website.
 Author of Ebola 2014, published October 2014 to all book and eBook retailers: When the Ebola outbreak began to gain momentum in the later half of 2014, I decided it would be helpful for many medical workers and emergency responders for me to use my decade of knowledge about the virus and past outbreaks to write an extensive and easy to comprehend short book that provided the needed information and a meaty reference list for further study. Following the publication of my book, I had offers to translate it into Spanish and also Portuguese. I received dozens of messages via email and via LinkedIn to collaborate with emergency response agencies and firefighters with ambulance companies to develop their protocols about PPE and decontamination. My client in Dugway, UT also saw this work as a useful reference and had me develop a case study with a PowerPoint presentation that they could use in courses.
 Open source research to support projects related to infectious diseases, infection control and chemical and biological weapons. This work is supportive of above projects.
 Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and technical personnel to gather information pertinent to projects which allowed new connections for my client that provided valuable leverage and information sharing.
