Plan and execute maintenance and repair operations for Battalion comprised of 18 Operational Detachment – Alpha’s and Headquarters Support Company. Lead 48 military and civilian personnel responsible for maintaining 3,100 pieces of equipment, including trucks, weapons and electronic devices with a keen focus on quality, safety and performance. Create and facilitate training programs. Managed and controlled repair budget up to $800,000.

Key Achievements:

** Skillfully advised and instructed U.S. and foreign military customers on maintenance management, acquisitions, equipment troubleshooting/repair and maintenance technician training.
** Served as Battalion Maintenance Officer to the Special Operations Task Force Iraq during two overseas deployments; rated as the #1 Combat Service Support Officer while providing leadership and direction to 48 technicians, including soldiers, contractors, reservists and local nationals.
** Consistently recognized as a technical expert and praised by superior as the “best Battalion Maintenance Officer I have worked with in 27 years.”
** Coordinated maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including optics/night vision devices, communications systems and weapons that were essential in saving the lives of soldiers and civilians in the U.S. and Middle East.
** Appointed as lead planner for the fielding, installation and training of three new systems: Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB II) communication platform, Lightweight Tactical All-terrain Vehicle (LT-ATV) and M1165 Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV).
** Created rigorous maintenance training programs (such as the Special Operation Forces Enabled Maintainer Program) to prepare team members to troubleshoot and repair complex, conventional and non-conventional equipment and tools.
** Cultivated relationships with factory representatives to sustain up-to-date information and insights into new products and upgrades.
