Network Eng, TS/SCI, Bragg, $$$$, relo $

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Salary: $115K+ ($132K DC equivalent)

Start Date: Immediate (2 weeks)

PoP: 2 years left on contract

Referral Bonus: $1,500 if you refer this person and they get hired

With a wide range of knowledge, evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, and perform problem isolation and resolution, monitor, tune and sets standards for all aspects of Unified Comms (UC). Maintain a complex range of computer network components and systems. Plans and coordinates computer network initiatives. Researches, evaluates and recommends new computer network equipment and technologies. Design solutions to operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Provide internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, computer operations, workstation support, company management and departmental clients. Works with other Special Operations network professionals as directed to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes.


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.



  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II required
  • Experience with VOIP Theory
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Call Manager including Moves, Adds, Changes, and IOM Call Manager v9+
  • Understanding of TFTP and SFTP methods involving Call Manager
  • Experience with Gatekeeper, H323 call routing
  • Experience with Phones: 7965s, 9951s, 7940, 7811s
  • Understanding of SRST (Survivable Remote Site Telephony)
  • A technical knowledge of all phases of network operations.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot phone registration issues
  • Excellent communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through
  • May be required to provide clear written documentation on network procedures and diagrams
  • Must be able to effectively interact with staff from other sections on complex client/server problems
  • Detail oriented and organized; able to understand network evaluation criteria and be exact in assessments
  • Must closely follow network protocols and methodology
  • Reviews the work of others and is able to detect errors or needed modifications
  • Temporary Duty Travel may be required.



  • CCNA Voice or Collaboration preferred
  • Military experience preferred
  • Experience with Cisco CUBE (Cisco Unified Border Element)
  • Understanding of the Cisco Telepresence to include VCS’s, MCU’s, TMS software
  • Experience with SIP call routing and the ability to trace calls in RTMT and decipher H323 and SIP call traces
  • Cisco SME’s, understand related concepts
  • Experience with Phone firmware upgrade procedures
  • Experience with CME (Call Manager Express)

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI clearance required
