Job description: Project Management Analyst/Consultant – Defense Innovation
Client is looking for talented program and project management consultants experience to help our Defense clients research emerging technologies and practices, and understand how these might help them be more agile, adaptable, and responsive to their own customers and the warfighter. Our client is evaluating a wide array of emerging technologies such as robotic process automation, augmented reality, battery recycling, distribution and warehouse modernization. In this role, you aren’t necessarily technical or a technologist, but you also aren’t averse to learning about new technologies and helping others understand them.

Responsibilities include:
Supporting engagements with academia and industry
Facilitating integrated product teams (IPTs) with stakeholders
Understanding end-user and business functional requirements and objectives
Designing, planning, and overseeing projects to test and evaluate feasibility of emerging technologies
Helping clients identify and manage risk, schedule, performance for projects
Analyzing potential business case and return on investment

Required qualifications:
Project or Program management experience.
SECRET security clearance
U.S. Citizen
BA or BS degree
At least four (4) years of experience supporting or working in a Defense Program – IT, weapons, logistics, all kinds

Very Helpful, but not required:
PMP or DAWIA credential a plus
Human-centered design and/or design-thinking experience (to the extent that these are distinct)
Experience in logistics or sustainment is helpful but not required
