Position Write Up:
Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Analysis Support (CIAT) Focuses on providing International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) or United States Force Afghanistan (USFORA) with intelligence analysts to support CIED operations. Provided staff augmentation to the existing intelligence staffs at multiple tactical and operational echelons within the Combined Joint Operating Area Afghanistan (CJOAA) for the purpose of providing administrative, analytical, planning and reporting functions.
Served as a CIAT Team 30 HUMINT Analyst as part of an intelligence analytical team in support of USFOR-A, CJTF Paladin, SOTF-SE, Naval Surface Warfare (NSW) N2, JISE, and N2X Special Programs Group (SPG). Provided research, development, presentation and published HUMINT products at the tactical and operational level related to insurgent IED cell activates, threats to local Village Stability Operations (VSO), and Military Support Operations (MSO). Conducted analysis of raw and fused human intelligence and counterintelligence data of insurgents who were directly linked to the acquisition, production, transportation, emplacement and employment of IEDs.
