Special Warfare Instructor, San Antonio, No Clearance

Salary: Negotiated based upon current salary/LCAT held

Location: San Antonio
PoP: 2 years
Travel: 10 – 20% to supported sites, training events/conferences, and company offices
as required.
Start Date: Immediate (Contract awarded- Openings end of Aug)
To serve as a Contract Instructor for the Special Warfare Instructor Qualification Course
Duties and Responsibilities:

 Execute, deliver, and instruct the Special Warfare instructor development
 Prepare lesson plans and training aids and present academic, laboratory and
operational lessons.
 Ensure all training is conducted IAW DoD and AF established policies and
 Attend meetings and provide updates as required.
 Make recommendations to Contract Lead Instructor on matters relating to
efficient and effective operations of the training program.
 Provide support and subject-matter expertise as requested to proposal activities,
development/engineering efforts, business development or marketing
requirements, and device acceptance and testing activities.
 Additional duties assigned as required, to meet overall mission accomplishment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher. A portion of the contract instructor’s
academic preparation must be relevant and applicable to the subject matter
 Experience: Experienced (three to four years) Instructor / Instructor Supervisor in
BA or special operations community, and at least 10 years of SW or special
operator experience with similar competencies (e.g. USA Special Forces, USN
SEAL, and USN Special Boat Operator).
o Contractor personnel must have either retired or separated respective
community in good standing with a minimum of an Honorable Discharge.
o SW or SOF operator experience is critical to the credibility of the contract
lead instructor.

 Proven ability to provide liaison activities with customers, course writers, and
management teams.
 Broad capabilities knowledge to ensure ability to screen assignments for unusual
or difficult problems and select techniques and procedures to be applied on non-
routine work.
 Exceptional oral and written communications skills and possess the ability to
work independently.
 Practices Quality ISO 9001 principles and concepts.
 Must be able to work as part of a cross-functional team, with demonstrated ability
to handle multiple competing tasks.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

 3+ years of experience leading, managing personnel and situations in diverse
and high tempo environments.
 Provide course support, on-the-job training, logistics and security functions as

Position requirements, qualifications, and duties are subject to modification depending
on level of experience and background of successful candidates.

Primary Location: San Antonio, Texas
Schedule: Full-time

Applicants selected must meet minimum eligibility requirements, including US
Citizenship, in order to be considered. Candidate will be subject to a government
security investigation and background check as a condition of continued employment.
Work location is primarily on an DoD Military Installation and as such will require access
via a Contractor Common Access Card (CaC). Qualified applicants must meet all
requirements for obtaining access to the installation.
