Job Description

Client is looking for an Assessments Analyst to be embedded with Task Force – 10 (TF-
10 / SOFTG-10, Special Operations Units in Afghanistan) to provide subject matter
expertise to Special Operations, Special Forces Groups, Special Forces Operational
Detachment As (ODAs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Special Operations
Command Forwards (SOCFWDs), and Planners.

– Highly specialized applications and operational environment in Afghanistan
– High-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and
training
– Implementation advice on complex problems which require knowledge of the
subject matter for effective implementation
 Apply principles, methods, and knowledge of specific functional areas of expertise to
specific task order requirements
 Provide advice on esoteric problems which require extensive knowledge of the subject
matter
 Design and prepare technical reports, studies, and related documentation
 Create charts and graphs to record results
 Prepare and deliver presentations, training, and briefings

Minimum Qualifications:
 10-15+ years of relevant specialized military experience
 Experience supporting Special Operations/Special Forces
Desired Skills and Experience:
 Former Special Forces or Special Operations officer, warrant officer, or senior NCO or
former officer/warrant officer/senior NCO with multiple year assignment to Special
Forces or Special Operations units
 Previous work experience with SF ODAs or SF Battalion/Group Staff
 Previous work experience supporting CONOPs
 Previous Europe assignment

Education:
 BA/BS in International Relations, Political Science, or related area of study preferred
